KAi Havertz have admitted to the fact that he is happy with the way things played put yesterday owing to the fact that they played well and although they lost but the kind and type of game they played was a thing he liked.

The Blues had more possession, shots, and clear cut chances against the Germans away from home, but now have it all to do in the home leg.

Havertz was impressed with how new signings Joao Felix, Enzo Fernandez and Mykhailo Mudryk performed.

“We have had a lot of new players join in this window and I think you can definitely see us improving and getting that chemistry with one another now,” Havertz said.

“This was another step forward, even though we lost.

“The result wasn’t what we wanted, but I think we showed some good signs, especially in the second half, and we need to build on that.”
