Brentford boss, Thomas Frank has cast doubt over the possibility of Ivan Toney leaving the club this month.

Chelsea have consistently been linked with the 27-year-old striker, along with Napoli’s Victor Osimhen for the past few months.

With Osimhen signing a new contract with Napoli last month, Toney seemed to be Chelsea’s only hope of getting a top striker this month, but Frank has now revealed that he has no plans of losing the England international unless they receive an outrageous bid for him.

“Yes, he’s staying,” he said, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.

“He is a Brentford player. I can’t see why we would sell him and I would love to have him for a longer time.

“It needs to be an unbelievable price. So he will stay here.”

Toney is report down valued at £80m, but it could now be more after the latest comment from Frank.
