Ozil claims Chelsea collapsed after this world best player left the club

Former Real Madrid and Germany midfielder Mesut Ozil has hailed former Blues defender Antonio Rudiger.

Rudiger was a key figure at Chelsea before leaving for Real in the summer of 2022 as a free agent.

Ozil has declared Rudiger the best defender in the world after watching Real Madrid beat Mallorca, with Rudiger scoring the only goal of the game.

Ozil further claims Chelsea collapsed after Rudiger left Chelsea.

He posted on his social media: “You can ask (Erling) Haaland or (Victor) Osimhen how good Rüdiger is. He is simply the best defender in the world right now.

“Look what happened to Chelsea after he left, they miss his mentality every day.”
