We are a leading bakery and cafe located in Canada, currently seeking experienced Bakers to join our team.

Job Description
Bakers are responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts. They are responsible for mixing, kneading, and shaping dough, measuring ingredients and following recipes, operating baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers, decorating and finishing baked goods.
They must be able to maintain accurate records of inventory and production and keep a clean and organized kitchen. Bakers must also be familiar with food safety regulations and ensure compliance with them.
What you’ll be doing in the position
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts, including but not limited to:
- Mixing, kneading, and shaping dough
- Measuring ingredients and following recipes
- Operating baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers
- Decorating and finishing baked goods
- Keeping accurate records of inventory and production
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
- Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Communicating with customers and other staff to ensure prompt and efficient service
Must have skills and qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in baking or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with baking tools and equipment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
