We are a busy hotel located in the United States, currently seeking an experienced Housekeeper to join our team.
We are looking for Housekeepers who are passionate about their work and dedicated to producing quality work.
The hospitality industry is constantly evolving, and as a housekeeper, you will be exposed to new technologies, materials, and best practices. Housekeepers play a vital role in the industry, as they are the ones who maintain the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms, public areas and common areas.
Job Description
As a Housekeeper, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of skilled professionals, take on new challenges, and develop new skills.
What you’ll be doing in the position
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:
- Cleaning guest rooms, public areas, and common areas
- Making beds, changing linens, and replenishing guest room supplies
- Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping
- Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms
- Laundering linens and towels
- Responding to guest requests and addressing any issues
- Reporting any maintenance or repair needs
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Communicating with supervisors and other housekeeping staff
Must have skills and qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or related field
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
- Ability to stand, bend, lift and move continuously throughout the shift
