Job Description

The job requires handling and processing packages, loading and unloading delivery trucks, and operating warehouse equipment. Package Handlers play a vital role in ensuring that packages are delivered on time and in good condition.
What you’ll be doing in the position
The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, handling, and processing packages, including but not limited to:
- Loading and unloading packages from delivery trucks
- Sorting packages by destination
- Operating equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts
- Checking packages for proper packaging and labeling
- Storing packages in designated areas
- Keeping accurate records of packages received and processed
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations
Must have skills and qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts is a plus
