We are a leading retail company located in the United Arab Emirates, currently seeking experienced Cashiers to join our team.
We are looking for Cashiers who are passionate about customer service and have strong mathematical skills. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a cashier or customer service role, a positive attitude and a willingness to take on new tasks.
Job Description
As a Cashier, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of skilled professionals, take on new challenges, and develop new skills. You will be responsible for ensuring that each transaction is handled accurately and efficiently and that customers receive excellent service.
You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, and ensuring that all equipment is used safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
What you’ll be doing in the position
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-quality customer service and handling cash transactions, including but not limited to:
- Operating cash registers and handling cash, credit, and check transactions
- Providing excellent customer service and resolving customer issues
- Keeping track of cash drawer and making sure it stays balanced
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Keeping track of inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Providing information about products and services to customers
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Must have skills and qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a cashier or customer service role
- Strong mathematical skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
